Solubilization of Tetrabromobisphenol A by Soluble Organic Compounds
The solubilization of tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA.
According to the research results, solubilization is affected by the structure, molecular size and ionic strength of the soluble organic matter, and is directly related to the form of tetrabromobisphenol A.
The solubilization isotherm curve of the influent/effluent soluble organic matter to tetrabromobisphenol A is non-linear, which can be described by Langmuir equation, and the binding coefficients (Kdoc) are 1.19 respectively × 105L.kg-1 and 1.27 × 105L. Kg-1, in which the solubilization isotherm curve of macromolecule (relative molecular weight 1000) to tetrabromobisphenol A is linear, and the main mechanism is that the distribution and nonlinear change are composed of small molecules (relative molecular weight 1000).
The solubilization capacity (Kdoc) of small molecules in the inlet and outlet water is 55% higher than that of large molecules, and the solubilization contribution rate is greater, reaching 75%~80%. At the same time, the solubilization can be promoted when the ionic strength of the solution decreases due to the influence of ionic strength of the solution. With the increase of ionic strength, the solubilization effect is reduced in DOM polymerization, flocculation and other processes.
